Dennis and Andrea Ronen started their small wholesale & resale electrical supply in the back of their family owned car wash back in 1985. As the need for electrical supplies grew in the area, they also needed more space. The building at 511 North Douglas in Litchfield was purchased in 1988. They opened a second location in Greenville in 1996. Over the years, A&D Electric has grown and continues to sell a wide selection of supplies all over the state and beyond. David also grew with the business. He is a co-owner, and works to continue the family tradition of great service. Jennifer is now a graphic designer in Springfield IL and maintains the company's website. While the business continued to grow out of its existing space, progress was made by acquiring the old "Buske" building and surrounding property. Work is still being done on the building's exterior, but the showroom and offices are now open. The new building allows for a much larger inventory and an expanded showroom of fixtures. A portion of the new building also contains the area's new cable company, New Wave Communications.
